TOP MACHINERY FOR TOP RESULTS
Horizontal Cold Chamber Die Casting Machines
High pressure equipment includes 3 Buhler Cold Chamber machines
with capacities of between 160 and 400 tonnages
These machines produce a wide range of castings, for diverse
applications. Castings range in weight from just a few grams through to 7 kg.
Automatic fast cycling keeps casting costs down and satisfies
customers' most exacting requirements. When large runs are needed, this
process achieves significant economies.
Lower Pressure Machine
Casting weight - up to 15 kg. This machine has the advantages of casting short or long runs with low die costs, and is suited to casting heavy section castings with a wider range of alloys than high pressure techniques. This capability has produced a variety of quality alloy castings, for example 2.5 gallon beer kegs, stockpots, electric frypans, street lights, barbecue bowls, alloy wheels, and heat sinks for the electronics industry.
Gravity Machines
GC MOLD's two gravity machines can be adapted to accommodate a wide range of permanent moulds. The use of up to six cores is possible. As die costs are low, these machines are suited to shorter runs, and use of a wider range of alloys is possible.
AUTOMATION SPEEDS PRODUCTION
GC MOLD's 200kW induction furnaces are each capable of melting 300 kg of Aluminium every hour. The furnaces supply all die casting machines through an automated mono rail designed to reduce time in topping up holding furnaces and to speed production.
Our commitment to producing quality castings ensures our products
become components in a diverse range of products. Continued high achievement is
enabling GC MOLD to build valued long-term business partnerships with it's
clients, while continuing to adapt to meet the evolving needs of new
industries.
